I love the podcast but I think that it has gone to much toward politics. I would rather just listen to interesting conversations with interesting people. I think Joe does a great job playing his role especially in his interview with Trump. It is not his job to ask Trump hard questions. It is his job to sit down, and have a long, intelligent conversation discussing different topics and issues around politics, that helps people understand Trumps perspective. I’m not saying one has to agree with those views, but I think that this podcast is getting hate only because people clicked onto one episode, and it featured something that they don’t agree with politically. People who don’t even listen to the podcast are giving it negative reviews simply because Trump was featured in an episode.

It’s unfortunate that Joe Rogan wants to continue pandering to low information voters and not have any guests who will speak from another point of view (eg PeteButtigieg, Jon Stewart, etc). Is he afraid someone will come on his show and make him look as unintelligent as he is? Seems that way. Sad.
