There was a time this podcast was something everyone could tune into because you could feel Joe was truly independent. He could hold everyone accountable and you felt that he could truly be a neutral voice that was needed. However, as soon as he started getting paid by multimillion dollar companies, and starting coddling the balls of billionaire class (especially Elon Musk), it’s no longer the same podcast it once was. Now Joe continues to make excuses for the worst kind of people while pushing just about everything of right wing propaganda that exists. It’s only a matter of time before he becomes a (n)4z1 sympathizer since he’s already a billionaire sympathizer

My husband and I used to listen to This podcast a lot especially in our long road trips. Ever since he jumped into political interviews, he’s not been open minded and is okay with the lies. I can’t stand that it was just making me angry and I don’t want to be angry. Step out and be non partisan then you can grow your audience back to what it used to be also, don’t hate on other creators, you should be supporting each other. Everyone can succeed it doesn’t need to be one or the other.

Rogan use to present himself as an independent voice but it seems he sold out to gain MAGA followers. He frequently pedals in conspiracy theories that have been disproven with solid fact based data and research. Nowhere near an independent voice anymore, but a proud MAGA voice.

I have been listening to Joe Rogan for 10 years now. I’ve lost count of how many interesting people and topics I’ve been introduced to here, from politics to science and comedians and more. Because of the range of topics and people he has on, no one is going to agree with everything his guests say or stand for and that’s the point. I love to hear the views of others, have my ideas challenged or have my ideas strengthened by new arguments. I’ve gone and done more homework on countless topics to learn myself. I’ve been inspired by people who are innovating, challenging, etc… Joe also sets the example for being kind and gracious to guests while keeping an open mind but not letting his guest off the hook for any assertions he thinks needs more explanation. Because he’s a comedian and sees things from that perspective, he doesn’t take himself too seriously but he does point out the absurdity or the novelty of many things we just take for granted. If you’re someone who has the fortitude to hear new ideas or things you might disagree with, then definitely listen. If you are so stuck in your ways of thinking and can’t possibly fathom listening, then you should ESPECIALLY listen. There is hope for everyone.

The spread of misinformation and propaganda is hard to overstate. The host never asks for sources or challenges claims made by many people he “interviews”, basically giving them a massive platform and reach. It is very problematic. Many people who buy into the Joe Rogan machismo brand can’t discern the truth form the lies they are being fed… Facts are never checked. The evidence and sources presented by the guests are never corroborated. If you have a platform and just say you are not a real journalist to spread dangerous lies, misinformation, and propaganda, that doesn’t mean you don’t have the responsibility, considering it’s the me the most listened podcasts right now. Which is extremely troublesome and frankly terrifying.
