Joe does a great podcast. The three hour conversation works. It allows people to really get to the heart of whatever they want to talk about. It is funny but I find myself learning something every show.

I found out about Joe Rogan listening to the Louis CK pandora channel one year ago. When I ran out of bodybuilding podcasts to listen to I decided to download the the Bill Burr podcast and this one to see how comedian podcast are. After six months of listening to Joe Rogan and his guests I can say the Joe Rogan Experience is not a podcast but like the name says an experience. The amount of wisdom, knowledge and fun you can get from this podcast blew my mind. You learn something new every episode about countless topics. The guests come from all walks of life from hunters to hormonal experts and you get a three hour window to their lives. This podcast changed my world views and influenced me to be a better person. After listening to almost hundred episodes; one or two a day at work an in commute I can say that this podcast has one of the best production values when it comes to sound and content quality. Joe Rogan is one of the greatest thinkers of our time.

I have yet to hear a bad Joe Rogan Podcast, even though he's had some boring or uninteresting guests(this is my opinion). Even though he has SOME boring guests, the podcasts are great. Joe has this gift of carrying a conversation or dialogue to a different level. It's not just about the expertise of his guest(s), but rather the dynamic delivery he possesses. These conversations encompass pretty much all aspects of life with some added expertise from his guest and Joe is actually smart as hell!! He's very well read and really seems to have this crazy interest in everything as long as it's looked at objectively. His opinions are always welcomed even though I disagree with some of them. All in all, Joe was born for podcasting. One thing I wish he would do is maybe have a podcast listener challenge, where his listeners could compete for a guest spot on one of his shows? Not as the main guest, but kind of like a sidekick where the winning listener could be in the studio, with microphone, and interact. I think that would be so damned cool. I would love to do something like that *wink wink*.

This is a great show. Episodes that I recommend are the ones with Dave Asprey, Jan Irvin, and Dan Carlin. There are so many more but you'll have to go and discover them :-)

Other than sports the JRE is my favorite medium of entertainment---movies, shows, music, everything. Very funny, very relaxed, very organic, and very informative---Joe and his guests are doing the world a favor with this podcast.
