There's nothing better than a good old three hour chat between Joe and someone like Sam Harris or Hunter Maats or Jordan Peterson or someone else who's smarter than him. He's great at extracting info from them in ways that allow the rest of us to learn. When it's just Joe and his buddies though I usually take a pass. Nothing against those shows they're just not my cup of tea. (Or caveman coffee if you prefer.) But a good JRE episode with a really interesting, smart guest is not to be missed.

I know Joe through his UFC commentating and stumbled across his podcast through YouTube. I found it fascinating. Joe definitely has opinions, but he's very open-minded and hears what others have to say. The long-form interviews are always interesting, even if it's someone I might not be interested in from the jump. Best of all is that there are no commercials during the discussions. If you're a fight fan, the fight companions and breakdowns are great too.

You will not find a better podcast for any topic of value. Period. The man is a genius...and I'm not just talking about his vocabulary or ability to recall events.. I'm talking an ability to hold his own on any given topic and allow himself to be enlightened regardless of his own personal beliefs or opinions. That is truly the sign of a brilliant being.

I love watching this on YouTube but sitting down for 3+hours is not something I have the time for. However, twice a week I make a 3+hour journey by car and this podcast is just perfect. I can always catch up on the visuals (if there are any) when I arrive so I am never too much out of the loop. Some much amazing information mixed with side splitting laughter. Probably my favourite podcast that isn't filmmaking related. Keep up the great work!
