With conservative 'superstars' such as Candace Owens and Jordan Peterson this podcast is fodder for the 'libertarian bro' movement who just need a small shove into all out American conservativism. Joe has perfected the art of acting as a foil to his guests whilst never seriously challenging their ideas. Alt-lite with a 'common sense' veneer and a shrugging "Hey man I'm just asking questions!" attitude. Tripe.

The increase in biased opinion from Joe Rogan is becoming more and more apparent. You’re fixing your shows so as to not offend anyone instead of speaking with honest and strong opinions. I find I ask myself more and more frequently “What the hell is Joe Rogan trying to say” arguing without an argument

Duncan Trussell is lame and way overrated all because Joe Rogan supports him but Joey Diaz is the man I just have to mention so it’s obvious I’m judging off what’s real and not just off what Joe says goes. 🤨😉. Joe has a way of doing something few interviewers can do: Listen. He listen's to his guests and asks questions that are tough (see Jordan Peterson interview). He pushes back on ideas to get clarification or calls out sheer non-sense (see Steven Tyler interview). I'm new to his work but I can tell you he appears to have a following because he takes the time develop ideas and calls out things he does not understand or things he believes are false. Excellent work. It is humbling to think a guy who could knock me out with a single punch is so intellectual.

Credibility and source attribution used to be vital to ensuring the veracity of information conveyed over major media outlets/platforms. Bias was always to be expected, but it also provided a useful lens through which to view certain conversations, allowing for a more informed and circumspect interpretation. Clearly, after over 1,100 episodes, Joe Rogan’s bias(es) have become quite varied and somewhat nebulous. The fact that Rogan ostensibly pays an employee to edit certain portions of any given interview in order to post the clips in a manner which completely strips away the context does little to further his appearance as an honest intellectual broker. Whatever the intended purpose, this kind of shameless self-promotion creates an echo chamber of mindless speculation.

I liked what he said. I just think he likes to hear himself speak. Joe, you did well letting him go. I was on a looooong drive home from Canada day long weekend so I had the time to listen. Ted comes off as closed minded and a self plugger on your show. Arrogant as well. As much as he makes a good point he does not seem receptive to much outside his bubble. It was one of the most frustrating pod casts I’ve Listened to and well done for that! I don’t hate it! I just liked others more and at least I have some words for vocal vegans when they come at me now! You’re the best Joe!!! You got me onto so many cool people. Joe Rogan is a very competent interviewer, and gets some of the most intelligent people on his show. OK...sometimes he has some boring people on, but they are usually odd enough to make it worth listening to the whole show.

I used to listen to this podcast a lot... but lately it’s just two people (mostly men) talking over one another. The podcast with Ben Greenfield is a great example of this. Missed opportunities.

This show has become a near religious experience for me. I watch it every day now. Went to see Jordan Peterson last night. He said that at 150mil downloads a months, you were prob the most influential media figure on the planet right now. I’m included to agree, and I see why. You make the best show on earth.

Joe rocks- I so appreciate his willingness to hear everyone’s story. Thoughts portrayed on this podcast often leak into my daily conversations. The four star rating, rather than five, is because of the episode with Nugent. I was excited to again hear another point of view but I found the episode very annoying as Ted kept cutting Joe off with his excitement. I found Teds interview/conversational style very disrespectful to the other person he is conversing with, (in this case Joe) and hard to listen to. Anyway- thanks for providing this resource, Joe. I appreciate it.

I’ve been listening to JRE for many years now and I wish more women would join in. I’ve seriously learned more from this podcast than from schooling or experience. I love how Joe is so candid and authentic, and of course very funny. It’s almost like being privy to stimulating conversations with a vast array of interesting people on a daily basis. I am a super local San Francisco native so it made me smile when Joe mentioned in a recent podcast that he would go to Fisherman’s Wharf and do magic shows when he was a kid. Since we are the same age, that made him even more relatable that we have some of the same stomping grounds. :) Love your show Joe, there is nothing close to it as far as I’m concerned!

Good on Joe Rogan for having people from all over the world on his show. Even though I don’t agree with everything the guest might say, I still listen because it’s good to have perspective. Joe fishes interesting and thought-provoking conversations out of his guests, and always seems to ask the questions I also have on my mind.
