At first I just listened to episodes w guests and/or subject matter that I was familiar with. Quickly realized nearly every ep is interesting bc of the wide-ranging topics they fall into. One example: North Korea scholar was on but the conversation was so unrestricted and meandering they ended up talking about deep ocean life (and other unrelated topics)

Joe, thank you for “being real” and inspiring so many of us to be “real” ourselves. I like many others have an inherent feeling to be true to ourselves and our heritage of being human. In this fast paced culture full of selfishness so many of us find ourselves getting extremely irritated by fellow humans for the pettiest things. This happens to most of us but the “real” people among us know that these feelings of angry need to be replaced with patience and understanding and Love. Listening to your comedy and podcasts helps me realize that there really is many others who feel the way I do. Thank you for promoting honesty, love,patience, and understanding. This helps us understand ourselves which helps us become better people. Thank You

Long and lively. Smart. Interviewees tend toward MMA and comics. Politics are libertarian without the greed and racism. Sometimes after a couple of hours he repeats himself. A little editing would be ok.

Love the show but I have to skip through roughly 6 minutes of commercial in the beginning. Very annoying. I’d rather it be spread out throughout the show so I don’t have to listen to a ton of them when I start the show. Other than that, show is really good.
