I wished you asked Bernie about the $450,000 donation he received from Pfizer and his sizable donations received from Big Pharma which he publicly criticizes or the 10 properties he acquired from wealthy democrats below market value! Everything leads to a story that makes him sound like some Robin Hood Hippie when he is now the rich!

But Bernie Sanders, while I respect the fact that he's consistent in his views he's living in the past. And if he really wanted to make life's better for people, he would embrace capitalism. The only system of economic growth that expands the pie and does not limit it. What he wants has failed in every place it's been tried.

The way Bernie Sanders tried to gaslight Joe Rogan at the end of this podcast is terrible. Joe was doing his best to be respectful of a man who has been in politics for so many years and Bernie Sanders just kept speaking over him and pretending he didn’t understand what Joe was talking about, while throwing up examples he couldn’t give references to, and basically saying it’s not right to sue people.

I normally enjoy listening to Joe however it was all I could do to listen to 20 minutes of Bernie Sanders idiotic ramblings and I couldn’t take it anymore. He wants to complain about the unjust and broken system meanwhile he’s part of it being a multi millionaire senator himself.

Thank you for a respectful interview of Bernie Sanders. I found it informative and timely. I don’t listen to your podcasts often because I am much more left leaning than I know you are. (I am trying to listen more to “the other side”.) I appreciated your equanimity and, for the most part, fair and informative questioning. As a result, I will be listening to more of your podcasts. Joe: I was just listening to your interview with Kash Patel about Epstein. The interview was great, but it brought to mind a thought I have had a lot recently. In today’s world, people have been led to believe that the organizing principle is conspiracy. It’s not. The organizing principle is incompetence. Most things that are attributed to some vast conspiracy are usually the result of something else: incompetence and laziness. Every time you’re confronted with some vast theory about people scheming to cover up some grand plan, consider the simpler option.
