The official podcast of comedian Joe Rogan.
Even if Wilks were to have made any valid argument during the debate, his manner of presenting them was so awful, it literally discredits it all. He was wildly disrespectful, borderline abusive to Kresser. Debates should not be held that way. Kresser kept his composure and was such a gentleman even when being attacked by Wilks. In my opinion, Wilks made no solid argument defending the “totality” of the film or supporting being vegan. Wilks spent the majority of the time in the weeds, about the most minor details. It was obvious, his main objective was only to discredit Kresser. Wilks seems like horrible arrogant human. Please don’t have him on again.

Really sad the privilege sandwich on this episode. Please tell natives more of your white washed history and “narrative” of who we are. Could have a been a good episode. All in all not surprised. Marginalize anything not caucasian!! Smh.

Wilks saying vegans are there own worst enemy was a great point. Hitchens would have loved that.

I gave up before I heard a word I was honestly interested in the topic. But there’s no reason for the excesses of advertising. There’s a few adds needed to cover production cost then you’re choosing advertising for personal gain over the listeners enjoyment. There are millions of other podcasts that don’t aggravate me before they’ve even begun.

Agree, quite possibly the most annoying debate I’ve listened to because of his defensive and bully like personality. We can do better Joe.

I enjoy listening to the interviews. But sometimes it just gets boring. Maybe it’s cause I don’t know all the guests. More comedians would be better.

I have never written a review of anyone that has appeared on the JRE podcast. I’m an avid listener don’t miss an episode. I’m not sure how to say what I’m thinking, without it sounding like an attack on Mr. Wilks. I’m sorry to say but how he conducts himself during this podcast turned me off of ever watching his movie. In short the man was a complete TOOL! I was though very impressed by Chris and his ability to sit there while this man talked down to him as if he was a child and a misinformed one at that.

Glenn Villeneuve has a very easy voice to listen to. Maybe from being secluded for so long and not needing to be loud. He was a match for Joe’s throaty love voice and I very much enjoyed the content. I’ll be listening again.

James Wilks spent more time personally attacking Chris than he did trying to provide facts to back up his claims in the film. This interview reaffirms that the message of the film was skewed to fit James Wilks personal beliefs vs hard facts. It also highlighted the need for better nutritional studies with wild or grass fed/finished meat vs standard livestock. Thank you Joe for another informative podcast.

It’s annoying the episodes Joe drinks because the microphone picks up every little noise. His sniffing and coughing makes it sound like he’s on coke

You finally get to know people without certain talking points. You learn about their humor, what they watch, what they think about unrelated topics. It’s just such a good way to understand another person. Love this podcast

Just listened to the game changers debate and the hairs were standing up on my arms, it’s refreshing to see someone actually seeking the Unbiased truth these days!

Love the podcast and absolutely love how Joe breaks down people and expects to back up what comes out of their mouth. Specifically Adam Conover not being able to back up any of the ridiculous views that he chooses to support. I have never heard someone squirm so badly in a conversation that made me uncomfortable. Adam Conover comes across as a completely ignorant person who operates under vagueness and “thinks” he is well versed on multiple subjects in society but constantly says “I can’t confirm that” and always ends up squirming and sounding like someone who has these ridiculous opinions/views but don’t hold up under a microscope and against intelligent debate. Keep up the great work Mr. Rogan, I know you are not specifically targeting the “Conovers” aka crazy leftist in society but I do believe that you expect all people with opinions to be able to back them up with intellectual statements. I hope that everyone sees through the fake BS that people like Conover put out in the world!

Very interesting topic. And James spoke very well despite being somewhat condescending towards Chris. However, after the many good points made by James he was still unable to articulate an argument that meat and animal fats are in fact unhealthy or cancer causing.

Just listened to Game Changers Debate between Chris and James, refereed by Joe. I thought mixed martial arts guys had a code whereby they let an opponent taking a beating tap out ... you should have let Chris tap out as James was on him for over 3 hours! Joe, thanks for setting it up as it was super informative. James, thanks for your thousands of hours of research on plant based diets ... hopefully you are going to change the world for the better. Doesn’t necessarily mean millions of people going 100% plant-based but billions of people eating better and smarter.

I had to punch out of the James Wilks and Chris Kresser debate because James Wilks kept bringing up scientific consensus which doesn’t mean anything. That’s what people who don’t want to debate facts say when challenged. The sun would still be revolving around the earth with that logic. He also falsely claimed to have interviewed Robb Wolf who denied that publicly.

James Wilks was extremely aggressive and annoying, constantly interrupting and trying to make the point that the scientific consensus is correct. The scientific consensus has consistently been wrong all along, ie: cholesterol and low fat has been wrong and personally I would never follow the scientific consensus. If you do you will certainly have chronic illness. And the whole peanut butter sandwich discussion concerning protein was ridiculous. Once again, if people are eating bread and peanut butter for their protein they will have chronic illness. Maybe it is James' diet that is making him so aggressive.
