I listened to this podcast fairly regularly for a couple years. I liked the occasional scientists and various interesting celebrities he would have on. I stopped around 2017 because it started to get....well, just dumb. He brought on conspiracy wingnuts like the Infowars guy who literally attacked Sandy Hook parents who’s children were murdered. Then there is the idiocy of various “Life hack” people selling snake oil. Incel hacks like Jorden Petersen. All the while joe is nodding earnestly, asking questions with this transparent fake intellectual demeanor. It’s just too much. I realized he’s not authentic but he thinks he is. I unsubbed when I couldn’t get through an episode without cringing. It stopped being enjoyable and educational. It’s just tedious.

Trump is leading this country to disaster. All politicians are crooks but only one hides he tax returns and regularly excepts payments from foreign countries. He encourages greed and ignorance. Donald Trump represents everything wrong with this country. I’m disappointed you can’t see that.

Dan Bongino would be an incredible guest to be on your show. Ex-secret service, ran for office, and is a genuine, stand-up guy. It would be a good way for you to redeem yourself after slamming the media, yet still going along with their BS narrative, especially when it comes to Trump and this coronavirus scare. Take a look at the Dems going to Chinatown saying “there’s nothing to worry about here come on down!” Bongino has actual facts that you need to be made aware of. Get on it.

I really appreciate the conversations he has with doctors, scientists, professors, etc. Most, if not all, are very informative. Two recent podcasts, one with Dr. Hotez and one with Michael Osterholm, have been very helpful in understanding our current crisis with this covid-19 crap.

Average guy figuring stuff out with comedians, accomplished guests, and crazy but fun people. He has a lot of money he thinks he earned by making good jokes, acting, and some company stuff after initial success, but he knows he is lucky, and other people aren’t. Not rightwing, progressive democratic socialist-lite. Middle America as majority believe in M4A, and supporting one another. Great guests and topics. You get to know Joe, and his guests due to time. Assortment of serious, funny, & conspiratorial shows and guests. Good for background or foreground, in terms of attention. Sometimes depending on show.

So I was listening to the “Rob Rat Podcast” and they were talking about this Joe Rogan guy, turns out he’s pretty entertaining and has some great guests which reminds me of the “Rob Rat Podcast” who are also pretty entertaining and have great guests too!

I love the podcasts with military veterans and retirees being an Army retiree myself of 24 years. You should bring back Pat McNamara, Jocko Willink, and Andy Stumpf all at the same time and listen to 3 generations of special operators.

I love that this show is so LONG, it’s hard to find podcasts that are this engaging and fill so much time. There are no competitors. If I could change anything, I would have less comedians— there are plenty of other shows for them to shine on, and there’s just less “meat” to these episodes. The Shannon O’Loughlin episode was a recent favorite eye-opener.

If Rush Limbaugh was a meathead, you would have the Joe Rogan Show. Just repeats the same stories over and over again at nausea, either put down the joint or read a transcript of your show Once in a while.
