I think what dan was trying to say is that you can train someone to be a fire fighter in 6 months and therefore you pay them an avg salary. To train someone to be a dr. that person pays/ invests in themselves almost a half million dollars before they are a dr. If there was medicare for all than the dr's pay would be fixed and many would see it as a bad investment. If the Govt trained dr's themselves it would take years and they woulld recieve less training of a lesser quality.

I find that this show used to have a base of intellectual curiosity but lately it seems its a lot about how social justice warriors, nancy pelosi or hillary, people against guns and non meat eaters are the most crucial issues of the day

I watched UFC 249 and heard your recent comments about the pandemic not being serious with Brendan Shchaub. I am disappointed in the reckless ignorance you have displayed with respect to the seriousness of the pandemic. You are a prominent figure and have a large sphere of influence: it is highly disappointing to me that you and that idiot Schaub are just telling people “it’s no big deal bro: I don’t even wear masks bro”. Also: I am disappointed to see you trying to shake hands with the fighters. Just because they tested negative. Are you Trump now? Anyways: I appreciate the variety of guests and topics you cover but also feel that you have a moral obligation to minimize the spread of BS.

I am a fan and most often schooled. I am so relieved to know that my fat gut is the reason I am not getting laid instead of my glass eye being relocated to my chin due to a wild bear attack. Listening to Adam Lange on his description of Temple Grandines contribution to the cattle industry. Her thing was not about light it was about building a system of curves not angles when corralling herds for any reason ie. doctoring, loading, slaughtering. She revolutionized the cattle industry by inventing the squeeze shoot. She was afflicted with severe anxiety due to autism. Her mom sought help and while they were at an alternative treatment facility she was introduced to animals and ranching. I don’t remember the details other than she was in college and discovered that her anxiety was relieved when being hugged tightly which prompted her to make a box she could crawl inside on all fours and it would squeeze her. The staff accused her being perverted and using this devise for some sorted sexual pleasure. She proved THEM to be the perverted ones by making history with this device now used on every cattle farm. She invented the squeeze shoot. Thanks Joe for the dating tips. I am now doing 100 sit-ups daily instead of worrying about my misshapen face and fake eyeball.

I hate this podcast. I had enjoyed a bit of his stand up in the past so I gave this a shot but most of the podcast is just joe doing interviews in a one sided pre planed way that is aggressive and one sided so that you only get the chance to hear what he wants you to hear. He makes sure you only hear his side of things. So if your interested in listening to an entitled, wealthy, white man telling you his opinion then go a ahead. Because we don’t already get enough of that.

Why do you pander to this man? His attitude about deaths from Carina virus are disgusting and display his lack of morals. His nonchalant joking remarks about deaths being counted as Covid related due to shortness of breath etc are just wrong. He stated no facts to support this claim and probably they don’t exist. Someday, when he has an illness that makes him vulnerable he’ll have a much different interview with you. I’d also strongly suggest you consider inviting more women to your show in the future to broaden your experiences. This is too much of a boys club for me. Unsubscribing now.
