Dangerously uninformed conversation about the food industry’s re-entry into full service. Pathetic “father of 60” describing fear-based misconception of the Covid situation. Funke- wearing masks is actually hurting us? You shouldn’t be in-charge of a staff, or feeding the public. You’re an embarrassment to the hospitality industry and we’ll see how you fit in when it comes to your partner’s projections in regards to the life span of a restaurant.

No doubt an entertaining show , but after a few listens , searched for the interview with the inspirational David Goggins . Goggins uses the f word many times , but seldom if ever , stoops to saying “ Jesus Christ “ in a tone of disgust . Rogan during this interview , spat out “ Jesus Christ in the same tone as Goggins used the f word . Rogan did this repeatedly .. no respect for Christians , so bye.

I like hearing perspectives I wouldn’t hear normally on this podcast. Theres some real gems in there, Daryl Davis, Paul Stamets, just listened to Joel Salatin. As a long-form podcast that I don’t have that much time for, (plus MMA isn’t my thing) I pick out about 1 of every 10 eps to listen to. Here are the things that drive me nuts: he talks to mushroom experts about mushrooms, and gun experts about guns, and space experts about space, and then he talks to any old white dude about race and LGBTQ justice issues. Doesn’t bother to talk to social justice experts, like organizers and social scientists. I’ve looked and I can’t find a single interview with a trans person, even though he talks /about/ them on somewhat frequent occasion. Mostly I hear a lot of griping about PC culture, no real counter balancing perspective. If you’re all about free exchange of ideas, which you state somewhat frequently, it’s a good time to broaden your scope a bit.
