Not too long ago this was my favorite podcast I had rated it 5 stars because it was a place you could find a balanced open minded science backed view on a variety of topics as of late joe barely tries to see both sides he’s become heavily biased and unlike in the past were he would keep an open but level headed mind about topics conspiracy or otherwise he is now leaning into some conspiracy theories while ignoring facts this genuinely bums me out I hope he’ll get back to being objective again but for now he’s lost a fan

Possibly the most well-known podcast of all time. Joe helps to shed the light on some of the tough issues of today. Is he perfect? No. But one of the big messages of JRE is that nobody is. That's the whole point. Joe helps to enlighten people to different perspectives. I feel like I'm getting the benefits of expanding my mind with drugs without having to actually do them. Great stuff!

One of the things I loved about this show was the fact checking and the bipartisanship of the show. I noticed in the last 5-10 episodes that it has steered away from that which is unfortunate.

Best podcast out there if you want to here open discussions from people that have a variety of views and beliefs. Joe makes a concerted effort to eliminate any bias which is probably the only place you’ll find something like that these days.

Joe is a great interviewer that knows how to get juicy and humanizing conversation from his guests. I appreciate that Joe reaches across the isle to people of diverse political beliefs whether I agree with them or not. With today’s militant progressivism and cancel culture that’s something less and less people are willing to do and shutting down conversation leads to division and ignorance. It seems this is the all the 1-2 star reviews are so low. Don’t be a snowflake in a bubble like the rest of these sad folks - this show is phenomenal.

Tried a few eps. It is too meandering and lacks focus. Also they don’t do due diligence in the things they discuss - so a lot “fake news” and far right wing things don’t get checked. Discussions should be balanced with points and counter points, however the eps that I tried (maybe just bad luck on my part) were all very conservative, anti govt, anti science, anti democracy etc. with no counter point.
