Of course Spotify is free, still ain’t downloading it. It’s just not the same show, that’s okay, but it’s not for me anymore. It introduced me to a bunch of other cool people to listen to.

I’ve loved and learned from the JRE. Joe Rogans shows introduced me to podcasts and I still love everything that Joe’s about except for spotify. I won’t be held hostage for a podcast.

JRE is hands down the best podcast out there. It’s just too bad they switched to Spotify. Although I understand the reasons; I’ll personally be choosing not to download spotify. (Political Reasons) I hope the best for Joe and his team with the new company! All I want is access to the oldies collection.

If nothing else, I will always love Joe Rogan for launching Dan Carlin into the stratosphere. I was also introduced to many other wonderful, life-enriching guests through Rogan’s podcast. Unfortunately, in the past year, Rogan has made some decisions that are in my mind unforgivable. The most glaring of which was welcoming Alex Jones back into the fold. Our country is now dealing with a violent, insane, right-wing insurrection. Alex Jones is a pathological and important part of this treasonous movement. Alex Jones has blood on his hands. Joe Rogan is either too stupid or too evil to care. Oh and he moved to Texas - the armpit of America. How’s that energy grid smart guy?

I used to listen to every podcast. Peterson and Weinstein bros were some favorites. Then I went to the Rogan/chapelle sold out show in Austin Texas at Stubbs bbq. His security guards were going out on the sidewalk trying to take people’s cell phones away...all the while preaching on stage about freedom of speech (that includes press and cameras Joe!) I understand inside the venue you agree to not use cell phones. On a public street, your security has no right to come at me. I still have the whole incident on video. The hypocrisy of Rogans security in relation to what his talks about killed my eagerness to listen to his show, which I love the content, but haven’t listened to one episode since. Just seems so fake now

Enjoyed this podcast for a very long time - back during the first time “Intellectual Darkweb” was used to describe Joe and a handful of other podcast hosts. Those with veracities that didn’t bow to censorship and had all manor of guests on their shows regardless of how controversial. But after his announcing his move to a major market competitor (for an absurdly lucrative profit), things changed. Now you can’t even listen to it outside of the exclusive platform he shares his contract with. His guests and topics are now “milk toast” in comparison to the uncensored brand that earned both his loyal following and his windfall. And I can’t help but wonder if he’ll ever have a guest on the show that isn’t prescreened and filtered by his new bankroll. Unsubscribed. And it’s a shameful misrepresentation of a brand that used to spit in the face of convention and the political lean of major media. But he won’t care - $100M is a lot of cabbage to sell one’s soul for. Ask yourself why you enjoyed listening and decide if a liar with no integrity is still worthy of his millions of subscribers and listeners.
