Nunn, a Texas legend as a songwriter and performer who calls Marble Falls home, agreed to be our first guest. He talked about the early days of the Texas outlaw movement, The Lost Gonzo Band, and his songs which have been recorded by the greats like Willie Nelson and Chris Stapleton.
One part of the podcast mission is to remember the greats who were part of the Marble Falls musical legacy. Montessori school cofounded by Willie Nelson and his wife, Annie, first at his ranch in Spicewood and later moved to Marble Falls. Burnet County is the birthplace of Oscar J. Fox, composer of popular cowboy songs like "Old Paint," "The Chisholm Trail," and "The Hills of Home," The community was also home to Floyd Tillman.
