I’m new to the Jilly Universe so this pod was perfect to get that extra context! Love hearing from the cast in such a relaxed and open way.

Decent companion podcast but episode 3 has lots of technical issues. For a moment I thought my internet cut as there are 15- 30sec gaps between question and answer, weird noises and audio is very quiet.

Those criticising the plot from the book need to wait for the long game.

Love the show & the interviews but it’s short & would be better delving behind the scenes of each episode. Also find the end part with the super fan & the comedian absolutely useless

Love rivals, love Pandora Sykes - I thought this would be the perfect podcast but it's just so boring! Pandora can do so much better, she's usually a fantastic interviewer. Maybe this would have worked better if it was more of a "High Low" format with her chatting to a friend. Felt like a dull press junket.

Really strange decision not to do 1 every episode - there should be 4 by now & feels empty. Love Pandora but she’s better than this

So disappointing. So much potential wasted. Please do better

This isn’t a podcast, it’s just a promotional junket for the series

Loved the show but found this boring. Adds nothing knew, most of the content has been in the media already.

Flimsy format. Some good insights from cast and writers but just feels like a slightly extended recording from a press junket. Kat and Sindhu adding nothing of interest.

So disappointing. Just an longer junket interview which we’ve all seen in all other media. Nothing new, nothing funny, nothing revelatory. You say “this series of Rivals” so the news is there will be series 2, when is it, when can we expect it. So, tell us that news. You interviewed two “fans” and one of them didn’t know the book at all. How strange. At least introduce it as a fan and a non fan.

Episode 1 gives away some big plot twists from the end of the season, so dodge listening to this til you’ve finished watching unless you want to give the game away!

I enjoyed the series as a whole but felt Daisy’s rape scene was poorly handled and inappropriate. Pandora seems to think it’s good to mix light and shade in this way - most my friends found it horrible and triggering. Also awful to see Rev Penny basically get away with it and look like a victim on screen. Totally unsatisfying and a real wrong turn by the writers room….

Absolutely fantastic! What a treat to get all this Jilly knowledge after the series 😍😍

Only three episodes.. not much content. I seems like all of this had been covered in any magazine/tv interview in the past couple of weeks. I expected more from this podcast. I listened but it was a wasted time.

Either do a podcast series or don’t. This is an extended audio trail. I am familiar with Kat’s work but she was snobby and also suggested dyslexics are not intelligent. The assumption that everyone had read the books blocked Sindhu and listeners out. Poor

I was really looking forward to this podcast- love Jilly, adore the series and all the actors. Really like Pandora (loved “The High-Low”) and am a podcast nut. So was all set for a treat. Unfortunately this podcast is totally over-produced, over-scripted and no fun. I wanted spontaneous hilarity and enthusiasm- what we have is “Pandora reads list of questions and participants gamely try to answer nicely despite it all being staid and awkward”. Switched off and listened to The Times podcast on “Rivals” with Luke Jones and Sarah Ditum which was a HOOT. That’s the tone I needed. Sorry guys.
