Gecko Theory are an independent 4-piece alt rock band from Melbourne. They are a throwback to the gritty, the raw, the albums you used to lay the needle down oh so slowly before each listen. No backing tracks. No auto tune. No fucking face paint, big hair or makeup… just 4 mates who wanna write some fuckin rock n roll!Their major influences range from the thunderous intensity of Danny Carey of Tool, and melodic bass lines of the Stone Temple Pilots. From the sonorous growl of early 90’s grunge pioneers Cornell & Cobain to the pitch perfect wails of Dimebag & Hendrix.
