Hello! I'm MG, host of Beyond the Venue Podcast and a hospitality professional turned academic. I started this podcast in the Spring of 2021 to elevate stories from my friends in the hospitality and entertainment world whose careers and businesses were impacted by the pandemic. Season 2 features several of my colleagues from the hospitality and event industry, as well as teachers and professors from a variety of disciplines. I interview other podcast hosts, storytellers, bartenders, parents, and everything in between! After wrapping up the recording of Season 2, I returned to the classroom as an adjunct professor in the College of Education and Human Development at Temple University. This would help me create Season 3, for which I used clips from my students' podcast project (with their permission of course!).
