On the whole informative but the presenting style can grate. Jasons use of the term ‘not great’ to précis his view of complex aviation problems can be tiresome. The shows with guests on usually raise the bar on the aviation industry

Ian and Jason make learning about any and all avgeek news fun- even the things I normally would not pay attention to. Episodes covering sensitive or hard topics like accidents are done in a caring and empathetic manner, and they are quick to call out mainstream journalists who don’t have regard for the facts! Not ashamed to admit I am currently working my way through the entire back catalog of episodes- back at episode 213 and planning to listen all the way back to the start, it is that good!!

Hard to listen to; aviation news is inherently interesting but Jason appears to know little or nothing about the anything; he just comments on how various things are “not great”-I’m guessing he could do much much better dealing with difficult issues-at least in his own mind. And of course course there’s the constant wining about delays and various frustrations encountered when flying to Europe etc. my heart bleeds for him. Want a good podcast with knowledgeable folks who give you food for thought? Try “the air show” or aviation weeks “check 6”. More information, no knee jerk spoiled brat judgments of things he doesn’t take the time to actually understand. Oh-and if you’re still going to listen-at least skip the first several minutes which are always a little chat about how tough Jason’s life has been lately. Ian is fine.

I’m not a political person and do not vote, however I’ve moved from 5 star review to this, simply due to the show starting to sound more like a 1 persons political view show. I understand sometimes it may need to be spoke about if stuff happens in aviation related to government ect, but please try keep personal opinions out. I’ll kindly restore my original review if this stops!

So, I am not in the airline industry but I love planes and learning new things. I downloaded Flight Radar 24 years ago and subsequently learned about this podcast a couple years ago and have not looked back. I have learned so much more about the industry and am entertained to boot. I have started listening to other industry podcasts as a result but this one is my favorite by far. Keep up the great content!
