As someone who has been involved in travel since I was a child as traveler, travel agent at age 12 in a family agency, private pilot and intensely frequent flyer (multi million miler), and avid plane spotter, this podcast is fascinating for me thank you I listen now religiously!

I found a new podcast recently, an aviation podcast, that I really enjoy - no surprise there. It’s called AvTalk. The hosts, Ian and Jason, are both in the aviation industry. The podcast deals mostly with commercial aviation but occasionally drifts off into other transportation sectors. Guests are relevant and interesting. When I first began listening it was early May 2020 and I started from episode #1 from a few years back. I’m all caught up and now listening to #87. It was interesting to binge all episodes, knowing what I know simply because I was in their “future”. Episodes are usually no longer than 45 minutes. Aviation enthusiast, geek or whatever you call yourself - I highly recommend it!

The banter between Jason and Ian is great and the conversations they have are humorous and entertaining. It’s a great way to learn a summary of the global aviation industry on a biweekly basis. One area of improvement would be to delve into the aircraft engineering side of the industry more as it is rarely covered.

Jason and Ian do a great job summarizing the global aviation environment in an entertaining and occasionally humouroua fashion. Really enjoy the amiable and engaging relationship the two have and the quick wit conversations they end up having. One area of improvement would be to delve slightly more into the engineering side of aviation, it’s unfortunately not covered very often.

I came across with this show certainly by chance and it's been a great discovery for me. I like it because it is not a show where just one person is talking and talking about aviation topics, but a show with discussions between different people that make the show more dynamic and emphatic. This makes that sometimes they share an opinion, but others there are confrontation points. Overall, it is like a conversation between friends rather than a standard and formal kind of speech, which I really like and I encourage the team to keep it like this.

This is a great podcast on civil aviation. The guys have a breadth of knowledge and also have some truly fascinating guests, from loadmasters to Qantas Line Captain.
