This podcast does a fantastic job on keeping me up to date on the aviation industry, as whilst I have an interest in it, I generally tend to miss out quite a lot if it wasn’t for this podcast. So yeah, in general listen to this podcast in order to stay up to all the latest!

With a good balance of humor and insightful breakdown of the industry. With regular subject matter experts joining in on the conversation, I just wish they had weekly episodes.

AvTalk is a informative, humorous, well rounded podcast. Jason and Ian provide a great insight into the aviation industry from many angles. They have an excellent rapport and clearly know their stuff! I love the guests they bring onto the show, who provide another angle on the world of aviation. I have been listening to AvTalk from Ep. 1 and cracks me up every time, while keeping up with the aviation industry (not that I actually would have to, I just like planes). I love it how Jason and Ian are unapologetic avgeeks who admit that most things they discuss are purely relevant because they enjoy counting planes (so do I), but still you learn about how each airline and manufacturer is doing, about tiny packets of ketchup filling up a cargo plane, lawnmowers with ADS-B, and so on.

There is no doubt Jason and Ian have the best aviation podcast that is available. As an aviation student, I know I can always keep up to date with the most important events and information while listening. I always listen to AvTalk on my drive to KORD for work, and back home. An informative, funny, and always intriguing podcast that only gives out factual and accurate information. I have been listening for about two years now, thank you for the great work!

I have been listening to AvTalk for a year and it has expanded my knowledge since. I find many other aviation podcasts boring, but AvTalk is very engaging and entertaining. This show is very informative on all aspects of aviation. They have various guest speakers who share their knowledge in the field. The show also keeps you up to date on current events within the aviation industry. AvTalk is a must listen for anyone interested in aviation.

I tried many aviation podcasts and this one is the best. Maybe because as a plane spotter, my main interest is commercial aviation. All in all, it covers well the market from a commercial, technical and investigation point of view; with some good sense of humor too. Both podcasters are American and sometimes we feel some conflict of interest on how things are presented; please always keep neutral and not only blunt for out of US topics. For the rest keep it up, I’m listening!

I am a huge fan of this podcast! It was the first podcast I ever listened to and I haven't stopped. They go as detailed as possible into the events of the aviation world. Everytime I see on the news something aviation related has happened, I get excited to listen to the next Avtalk episode and learn more about the event. For me AvTalk is the best independent source of information. I‘m working in commercial aircraft overhaul and get a lot of information, but AvTalk has it‘s own view and this enlarges the picture.

I searched for ages for a podcast on civil aviation, then come across this AvTalk from Flightradar24. I have now listened to every episode, and I can’t wait for the next one to come out. Jason and Ian have a great bond, and there is often quite a bit of humour. It’s a brilliant podcast, just wish it came out a bit more often, perhaps start having correspondents from different continents adding things into the show?
