I absolutely love this podcast however I often find myself fast forwarding through the long adverts. Hillary and Michael are absolutely hilarious, sorry for the negative feedback xx 💗💗

I used to really like this slow and have followed it until now. This turn of events is purely down to Hilary and her constant interruptions, bursts of fake giggles, digressions and all around taking over of each episode. I think I’d prefer a version with Michael and Jack even though I’m not a big fan of the latter.

I love all the banter between Hillary and Michael - even though I probably would not be as tolerant as Michael about being interrupted. The podcast is a window into an obviously loving relationship and interesting lives. For those reviewers being mean about the wonderful Mrs Whitehall, I would guess the chance of their being a pod cast without her are zero, Mr Whitehall needs a foil and together they are comedy gold. Stay just as you are and I will be a happy listener.

My goodness mr and Mrs Whitehall ! I’m also a DODL. I cannot believe the couple you just had on “the Harrelsons”. Anyone would be lucky to be friends with you both !!! This is the most wonderful podcast , and it’s what I need I have a husband with terminal cancer, it’s a recent diagnosis . Myself and my Mum have a cup of tea and a biscuit and we chortle at your escapades ! You actually help people through tough times and long may it continue. This podcast warms the cockles of my heart ! I needed this back in my life . Well done Whitehall’s !

I’ve had to change my review from 5 stars because I don’t like the way Hillary makes fun of Michael, on a regular basis. She can be mean and quite cruel to him and all credit goes to Michael for putting up with it. She also has an absurd and noisy snigger that sounds really bad on a podcast.

What a happy space this is. Lovely, natural and happy banter between two well -matched people of a certain age who are amusing and spark each other off in a delightfully irreverent but still respectful way. It makes me feel that there are still good people in the world who can help us navigate our way with humour and common sense through awkward social circumstances.

I have been a DL since the beginning and I still love your show but please stop having so many ads! I understand wanting to make some money but it’s ruining the content with so many ads breaking up the flow. One episode it felt like it was evenly split between the pod and the ads and that’s starting to get annoying. Sorry.

As always I love the banter and story telling from both Michael and Hilary. I appreciate there’s a monetary value from advertising various companies but today’s podcast seems to have been pretty much a third advertising and two thirds chatting. Please cut them down a little, it’s ruining the flow of the stories. There’s fever tree tonics, the BHF, Heinz soups, funeral care, cyber security etc and the pod is only 40 minutes! From a very DDL!!!!
