This is the most entertaining, fabulous pod cast I have ever listened to. Witty, warming and always genuine, Loth you both l, I am definitely on your wavelength Hilary and Michael is hilarious and I don’t think he knows it. I love all your stories of life and I am so glad we are not the only family who have hilarious dilemmas. Laugh out loud all the time and love the life hacks. I can’t wait to listen to an episode, totally obsessed. DODL from the word go. You were both hilarious and a joy to listen to. I am a big fan, definitely a permanent DL now. I listen to this podcast whilst travelling, doing household chores and eating lunch. It strikes the right balance of comedy, interesting facts/life hacks and entertainment. Michael and Hilary have great banter that makes you feel like you have friends round for a cup of tea, making this podcast soothing to listen to when one is stressed out from life.

This pod is great fun. The wittering never fails to amuse and very often is lol funny! There’s also sage advice, PPJ (listen you’ll understand!) recipes (scrambled eggs anyone?) and Nigel Havers! What’s not to like. (And for those criticising Mrs W, give your heads a wobble. She’s great. As is Mr W. They obviously love each other very much. There’s far too much misogynistic rubbish on some of there reviews. )

I have to say I find Mr. Whitehall an absolute delight and love listening to his stories and I love his acerbic wit. He is what keeps me coming back week after week. But what makes me want to stop is the Mrs., she is beyond annoying. Her constantly interrupting him, her terrible mucousy fake laugh, her constant abbreviations for everything, I just find her like nails on a chalkboard. This week I can barely stand it, I had to turn it off because Mr. Whitehall is trying to tell a story about a car he purchased and she is just cackling constantly in the background, just laughing and laughing like she's lost her mind. I honestly cannot abide her.

The Whitehall’s dynamic is a curious and mildly entertaining mix of domestic commentary and showbiz anecdotes. Michael Whitehall’s droll delivery balances Hilary’s bouncy jollity. But Mrs Whitehall needs to curb her frequent and forced snorting giggles as well as her compulsion to talk over Michael and really should cease her annoying habit of saying “see what I did there”. Ego overload Hilary. Let Michael take the lead. He’s often more naturally funny, amusingly acerbic and definitely the star of this show.

I absolutely adore Hilary and Michael, I am a day one dear listener and they now feel like family to me! I have recently read some complaints about Hilary and I also frequently see complaints about other women who host podcasts with men. Hilary if you do read these comments don’t listen! You are brilliant as you are, and these hateful comments towards women podcast hosts just shows what a misogynistic society we still live in.

I do love this podcast, but my only complaint is Hilary constantly interrupting Michael it’s really irritating, stupid laugh and comstant belittling of the man , and too many ads, this used to be a favourite of mine but cant listen no more because of this x

After being beyond obsessed with Travels with my Father I was craving the humour and quick wit of Michael Whitehall and Hilary. I stumbled across this podcast about a year ago. Hilary and Michael are the highlight of my week! I have caught up on every episode where I am now counting the minutes till a new episode is released ! It is fun, light and thought provoking. Could not recommend this podcast enough! Truly my favourite podcast to date !!

Used to love this but the adverts take up way too much time ; I find myself fast forwarding them . Mrs Whitehall needs to stop talking over Michael , she is becoming ever so annoying as he can never finish what he is saying

I used to love this podcast but Hilary just irritates me, her constant talking over Michael, her condescending way she speaks to him, trying to make him look stupid and her snigger laugh is unbearable. Sorry but I can listen. Get rid of Hilary! Michael is interesting enough without her!
