The world’s biggest stars join Romesh for candid conversations and loads of laughs.
Every Monday, Romesh Ranganathan meets actors, musicians, comedians and icons who share stories you won’t hear anywhere else, combining humour, heart and genuine insight. Expect backstage anecdotes, untold tales from the spotlight, and extraordinary insight into what makes them tick.
On Thursdays, Rom’s mum Shanthi joins the show to share family stories, answer audience questions, and offer her no-nonsense take on life, proving that the funniest and most relatable conversations often happen around the kitchen table.

The guest episodes are generally very good but the Shanti episodes are priceless. My mum died many years ago but as I listen to Rommy dissing his mum i picture it as me and my mother. She’d have been outraged but have given back as much as she got.

They are both effortlessly funny. I didn’t want it to end. Thank you for making my cleaning less laborious

It’s good, I like his mum’s contribution but his other pod is better / more spontaneous

No other podcast has made me laugh as much as this one. Romesh and the team are so skilled at making his guests feel comfortable whilst managing to bring out the absolute best in them. The questions are often thought provoking and clearly well researched, and yet can also descend into complete comedy gold at a moments notice. Romesh’s laughter is contagious. The recent Louis Theroux ep ended with perhaps the funniest 5 minutes of a podcast I have ever heard. Seriously, I was actually late for work.

I genuinely look forward to every new episode. Romesh has such a wonderful way around every conversation he has. I laugh out loud at several points throughout episodes, but also massively appreciate his ability to approach different topics and engage the audience. Absolutely brilliant, here’s to many more!

You bring love & laughter in such a dark world. I adore you both. 🌼🌸

I love this podcast but the volume of it is so low, makes it difficult to hear at times. Can be this increased for new episodes?

Was just thinking we need to hear more from Romesh.

Absolutely love it and find myself laughing out loud to it. Love the banter between Rom and Shanti. Please can you have Lisa as a guest too.
Joggles · GB
I just want to say that Lisa deserves a medal for coping with your mum 🤦♀️

Anything well made is always appreciated and a joy to invest time into. Every episode is comfort for the ears and Romesh has created something worth listening to. Love the guys laughing in the background and their participation works really well. Shanthi is a wonderful soul and did a good job raising her boys. Generous and fun. More please!

The Jack Thorne episode is my favourite so far.

Please can you invite your best friend from primary school Dylan Wall onto the pod. We need to hear about time lost and rekindle that friendship. You clearly loved eachother so much

Loved Chris McCausland, Jameela episode was hilarious, she’s brilliant and Ricky too, great to listen to. Romesh seems to bring out the best in people, love him

Some good episodes

Love Romesh, he’s absolutely hilarious! The guy in the background (pretty sure he’s called Ben) is so unnecessary though. He keeps interrupting, and isn’t funny or adding anything. Please get rid of him or tell him to be quiet. He’s not main man material - yet like he would quite like to be a host. Let Romesh do his thing - PLEASE. The only other criticism I’d have is that it can sound quite ‘blokey’- laughter in the background suggests there’s no women in the show’s production which is a shame.

Just love this podcast.

Really good podcast, always love the Thursday episodes with Shanti. BUT maybe some more different types of guests, seems like it’s a show for comedians talking about their lives in comedy, so is getting a bit repetitive. More female guests too would be great!
JessicaMS · GB
Love Ramesh, had some really good interviews BUT Ricky was brilliant. Rom and Ricky was a duo I didn’t know I needed! So funny.

I could listen to this podcast all day everyday. I listen to loads of pods but at the moment this is my absolute favourite
