From being momentarily smug from Starmer’s election to a progressive whinge-fest from Trump’s election, it’s well worth a listen - even if you don’t share their politics. Campbell, who I genuinely admire, twists and skews almost every point to his own political agenda leaving the hapless Stewart defending whatever he has left of his Tory politics. The latest episode with Ezra Klein is a peach. Keep on whinging guys!

For me maybe the hosts are asking too many questions and not listening to enough answers. I appreciate it can be difficult to get the balance.

It seem that Goal Hanger have introduced a more aggressive commercialism into their podcasts. I’m interested in the topics on a lot of their podcasts but find that more and more content is going behind the firewall of membership. I understand their is a cost and profits are required but their is also a lot more advertising on the actual podcasts as well which I would think covers costs. Previously certain podcasts were available earlier to members and then others could listen at a later date but this has also stopped. I think they are losing their way as it is very important that their ability to call out what is happening shouldn’t be available to only people can afford to pay.

I’ve just listened to last two interviews with female politicians, I’m amazed he gets any on. His attitude and tone to strong women is awful. Rory do u ever listen to yourself, 2 ears 1 mouth.

Informative and well informed. An education in reasonable conversation and debate.

Highly recommend.

These people are just phoning in their channeling TDS to try and make money. A couple of arrogant hypocrites whose opinions are just junk

These jokers are called Alistair and his poodle Rory. They are screaming at the top of their heads against anything Conservative and the way they set their hair on fire. Every day is really good fun this is really good free entertainment.

Thank you for introducing people to the good President of Syria, Ahmed Al-Sharaa. Your questions were profound and your presentation of the issues was excellent. Thank you.

Fantastic. Communication, in any form - truths or falseholds, positive or negative, always improve understandings. This pod definately plays an important role in getting „stories“ told.

2 experts drawing on long and successful experiences. But the advertisements are comprising it.

Violently misconstruing contemporary political issues for analysis through the lens of 1990s politics, every episode is essentially a new spin on the question ‘What would Tony Blair do?’ At three to four episodes a week, this high concept has now been tortured to within an inch of its life.

Interesting interview with Uzi…although nothing surprising. Rory, you always seem to articulate what is needed especially with regards to Palestine, right on the nose. Thank you for that. One thing you didn’t ask Uzi was what effect the Trump Administration may have on setting back the prospect of peace and a two state solution. I very much fear that he and Netanyahu will cause irreversible damage, as was done during Trumps first term. I am truly heartbroken for the Palestinians…they have suffered so much at the hands of the Israelis…for decades. The world knows the truth, while so many Jews remain willfully ignorant. Anyway, Keep up the great interviews…

Like the main show, this started well but quality has slumped over time and far too few women leaders interviewed.

That picture is not Tom Fletcher

Please stop guests going on rambling, adrenalin driven, monologues that last longer than five minutes. They get very tiring. Tom Fletcher is the latest example

James Manyika was an interesting guest, BUT RORY, PLEASE DON’T KEEP INTERRUPTING

Interesting topic & fascinating backstory. Rory & Alastair conveniently omit to mention the role sanctions played in devastating the Zimbabwean economy leading to immense suffering that did not affect Mugabe or his cronies.

Another excellent interview with a world leader offering perspectives on several topics. Whether one likes or dislikes Bill Clinton and his politics, it is definitely worth a listen. Well done!

I find it tiresome that every conversation Rory tries to attack Israel while legitimising autocratic regimes and ideologies.
