Just listened to her for the first time ever on Joe Rogan’s podcast and I’ve never laughed as much during his show as I did when she was the guest. At the gym and grocery store people were staring at me because I would just start laughing out loud uncontrollably.

Ms. Pat... I love this show. And thank you for your voice on abortion. While I appreciate Chris' perspective and opinion, these conversations need to happen with a man (especially white). Yes, Chris, abortion does have an effect on men, but the ultimately the responsibility lies entirely on the woman. IT IS HER BODY. NOT HIS. And that is not even taking into account the contextual factors of a woman's life and identity (race, social class, history of trauma). When a man has sex with a woman, they are BOTH taking the risk that pregnancy could happen. That risk includes disease, pregnancy, and any decision a person may have to make based on a consequence of sex. If the argument is about protecting a life and not about controlling women, then maybe we should consider what a woman truly needs in all realms of her life before bringing a life into the world. And that is for her to decide. Just because you bring a healthy baby into the world, does not mean that life will be protected or raised safely in this world therefore threatening the life down the road. A woman can get pregnant maybe 2 days a month. A man can get multiple women pregnant everyday. Thank you for this platform. Ms. Pat, I am a white woman. I know that depsite being a woman, I have privilege because of my skin color. You experience life in this world in a way I could never understand. That said, I am a woman, too. And I just want to thank you for speaking out on behalf of women everywhere. Men have a right to opinions. I respect that. But ultimately, not a right to the decisions made for a woman's body.
