I really wanted to give 4 stars because I spent far too much of my life scrolling back on Ed’s Instagram looking for the leftover sandwich with the moist maker (it’s not there btw). Otherwise, a great podcast.

Found it purely by accident....so glad I did. Not only is it funny, it’s made me plan my perfect meal (it changes every episode). One thing I would ask is that Nish is on every week.

So I’m a fan of James Acaster’s stand up but I’ve not been too familiar with Ed Gamble’s comedy and stuff because I’ve basically been living in a kitchen for the past five years or whatever and it turns out, these two crack me up! Came for the food, stayed for the belly laughs and sassy genie. Good guests, some horrifying choices - love it. A new fave ☺️

I love how Ed and James mix humor and good food. It is interesting to hear what people would pick if they could have any thing from any time and any where.

Such a simple idea made fun with the extremely funny and well matched James and Ed. I’ve never subscribed to a podcast before but look forward to this one every episode. The dark chocolate bounty is king and other than his completely disturbing McDonalds order James makes me feel better about the whole world.

Makes me laugh, makes me hungry, what more do you want?

It was the Aisling Bea ep that did it for me. Just hilarious.

Funniest one so far is the Richard Osman one. I find though that there’s a lot of making the same joke in four or five slightly different ways which is what happens when you’re just having a laugh with friends but you’d expect more from professional comedians.

If you’re a vegan don’t worry, there is a cure. Acaster goes full genie.

Genius... what else do you expect from a Genie in a Christmas stocking!

The more genies in podcasts the better!

wasn’t too sure about this at first, given that the format has been done before (desert island dishes) but Ed and James’s humour really brings it to life and has me in stitches every episode!

Everyone needs a genie waiter in their lives. This is a great listen.

Love the hosts but would have been better if they didn’t restrict themselves to talking about food. It’s only so many things you can say about food.

Awesomely funny podcast featuring two of the funniest people around. Listen or miss out.

Please keep these podcasts coming... absolutely loving them! @JamesAcaster, if it were up to me, I’d be having you for starter, main, side, drink and dessert every day of the week! Speaking of drinks... up for it? (Instagram: dlc12352) 😉

YES BOYS! Love this, Nish and Aisling episodes will be hard to top and I sincerely agree that Joel Dommett does not enjoy food, my Nan would probably end up in a early grave reading his food diary
