I stumbled across this podcast as wanted something I can laugh to when out walking. Recognised the lads so thought I would get involved and it so random at times, but definitely makes me silent laugh (suppressive the sound as on train). Krishna, was a surprise as found it pretty funny and spookily as soon as he mentions a bread basket, my head went immediately to Gaucho’s too! Looking forward to the next one

Off Menu is the first podcast I listen to every time I travel. I absolutely love the combination of Ed’s level-headed humor with a certain Genie waiter’s hilarious and often spontaneous outbursts such as “POPPADOMS OR BREAD?” James is absolutely outstanding on the podcast and the more I listen to the show, the more I believe 6 foot tall gingers have very similar opinions on food (my SO being one).The guests are absolutely amazing (with the exception of Joel Dommett’s atrocious meal), and they all do a wonderful job of explaining their meal choices. As an American listener, I wish understood all of the food-related references, but it’s a great way to learn about British food culture. A very original podcast that serves up some interesting meals.

I enjoyed the first couple, but the guests are letting it down. They have to funny or it just doesn’t work for me, get some top names on and it will fly. Its creeping down the charts now, I think that’s a reflection on the guests.

I love the show—great guests, hosts, and discussion, but half of the time the voices either are too loud or too soft. I don’t know if this is a poor microphone situation or if the guests are just leaning away from the mic, but it’s hard to hear at times, especially if listening through car or home speakers, or anything other than EarPods.

As someone who plans their life around food, this podcast is ideal for me. James and Ed work really well together and I love how they’re so serious about certain food choices (and rightly so). Also, you can learn a lot about people from their food choices, favourite episodes so far are Nish Kumar, Tom Kerridge, and Selasi! Can’t wait for more!

The main part to the podcast I think is good, funny and interesting (edited down to half an hour would probably be funnier) but the intros/ads are looong. 7 minutes on the Tom Kerridge one but I get they’ve gotta eat 😜
