I used to listen to table manners but was fed up of Jessie Ware talking about herself for 80% of the time and her mothers whining voice. Now a fan of this podcast, all it does is seem to advertise the bloody table manners podcast which I wanted to get away from. Jay Reyner, Grace Dent, Tom Kerridge all good episodes. Not a fan of Jess Phillips or that podcast. Prefer the foodie guests rather than the average comedians.

Any bread warm from then oven with a wedge of butter. Sparkling I love those bubbles. Scallops with black pudding and pea purée Rigatoni pasta with king Prawns Side always fries Tiramisu Washed down with a seriously hoppy IPA

The first series is great, with good, well known guests. The second series has had a few episodes now and honestly I’ve had to google most of the guests and found some do not even have a Twitter verification or many followers which shows how we’ll know the guests are. Please have more well known guests for the coming series’ because part of the fun of the podcast is listening to people you hear or watch regularly talk about their personal lives in an open manner.

It’s just frustrating, 2 of my favourite innovative comedians in the world, amazing guests and they’re all restricted to just talking about food & restaurants. I get that that’s the point but it quickly gets boring...these guys are peacocks you got to let them fly!

...you will love this podcast. I knew this podcast existed for some time but stayed away from it with the idea that hearing James, Ed & guest talk about food for an hour would be a chore, but I was completely mistaken; the lighthearted and earnest conversations with clever catches fly by and make commuting something that I look forward to. However, all guest are not created equally, skip Joel unless you really feel the need to hate someone while simultaneously throwing up in your mouth.

Real shame the latest guest is an MP who chose to throw her Asian constituents under the bus to appease racist voters that would never vote Labour anyway. I hope that this is not in line with the hosts’ ideals.
