Really enjoy this podcast, it’s opened my eyes to new foods I should try and the guests have been great. Ed and James work really well together and have me crying with laughter #TheMashKing

Well. It’s about food. So of course it’s great!!! Ed gamble is brilliant but James Acaster is the cherry on the top! Keep up the great work!!!

The loose and fun concept allows for much banter but also a nice insight into the guest’s actual life and philosophy. Somewhat surprising sometimes (for instance, I’ve always liked Victoria Coren Mitchell but now, I am slightly terrified of her - still funny though). James & Ed’s interactions are those born from a solid friendship and I feel like I am a bit part of it now, which is a nice and slightly stalky feeling. Loved loved loved the Jack Brayer episode - looks like Kenneth was a nice guy all along. Only downside of the podcast is that I can’t order papadums without having a mentalist bellowing ‘PAPADUMS OR BREAD’ in my head. Well done lads!

Absolutely rubbish. Lasted about 7 minutes and had to turn it off. This isn’t for me and will not be listening to these two again

I often get bored of podcasts, especially ones that require a lot of concentration. This podcast is the exact opposite, it’s a lighthearted and comedic series. I find myself trying to quietly laugh at my desk at work without looking like a complete idiot. Truly hilarious. Hearing guests’ anecdotes is just as Some of my favourite episodes which have truly made me LOL, include:- Mike Skinner, Kerry Godliman, Victoria Coren Mitchell, Tom Allen & Jordan Banjo.

Managed ten minutes of season three before switching back to RHLSTP due to the fact the first guest is selling something and therefore not a true guest. I wonder how much they got paid?

It’s like a buddy cop movie for the ears! Teaming up two comedians (Ones Serious, Ones a little/a lot mental) both are on the hunt for the perfect meal and will round up any suspect to squeeze them for all their food secrets all to entertain!!! Such a great podcast and a great way to learn about someone from their food choices....bring on the Dave TV programme.....please!! 😉

As a student, the need for something to motivate my mornings is imperative. Fortunately for me, this podcast exists! Laugh-out-loud funny, witty, and still somehow calming, Ed and James act as the perfect hosts, playing expertly off of the guest to maintain a playful and entertaining tone throughout the show, regardless of the nature and preferred comedic style of the new visitor. As a sleep deprived art student, I thank you both for the existence of this show. Bit of a lifesaver.

I liked the pod until Ed decided to start telling people they were wrong for liking meat cooked a certain way! I can’t stand him now!

This is everything a podcast should be. I didn’t know I needed this until I found it. James Acaster is hilarious as usual.

This podcast is the soundtrack to my dog walks, an no matter what the crappy British weather throws my way, I can be seen laughing out loud walking through the countryside! Perfect balance of foodie chat and great humour, please, PLEASE make more episodes!

Great podcast from two fantastic comedians whom I knew must know each other, but good to know theyre great friends too. Quite a big and sprawling podcast, I often get lost in those or tune-out but I follow this really well while driving cross-country at 7am. They both have great voices that convey a lot of emotion, but they also have very contrasting personalities and imrovise well together; all that makes this podcast fun and easy to follow and engage with even when people are driving like idiots in freezing fog.

I love this podcast. It’s a brilliant idea & the chat is always laugh out loud funny. Please do more new episodes.

I love this podcast combination but the sound level fluctuations in an episode are often ridiculous to the point of me not enjoying listening - without adjusting the volume, one second they are speaking very loudly and then they drop away. Listen to the first five minutes of episode 30 and you’ll understand. The podcast, Table Manners, has it right... sounds like they have lapel microphones. Please check the levels guys while carrying on the otherwise excellent work you’re doing.

My two favourite, hilarious comedians chatting to other hilarious people about food. Makes me laugh and smile uncontrollably every time. It’s like sitting at the best dinner party ever. I also like the small references to New Zealand (as I am a New Zealander)

Love this podcast! Makes my commute to and from work more bearable. However you never ask your guest whether they would like to have a coffee or tea at the end of the meal. You ask about water. You ask POPADOMS OR BREAD!!! But no coffee/tea at the end. Considering you are a magical restaurant with a genie waiter... Still love you though. Keep doing what you doing guys x

I listen to this when I’m washing up and now when I hear Ed Gamble’s/James Acaster’s voices I can smell fairy liquid

Best podcast out there! Been recommending it to everyone

I listen to this in the car on my hour’s commute and I’ve loved every one of these podcasts. It’s the same format but just doesn’t get boring due to brilliant guests and hilarious hosts. I almost had to pull over when I listened to Joel Dommett’s episode as I was crying with laughter. Greg Davies’s episode is fantastic too! 5 out of 5 stars from me. Can’t wait for season 3.

Love this duo. James’ rambling, nonsensical but hilarious stories such as the Amsterdam toilet trip. Bloody genius. So many favourites. Jack McBrayer needs to return monthly though...🙌😁

I feel like a crazy person when I listen to this in public, such is the breadth of grinning with frequent out-loud laughing. Definitely subscribe
