I was recommended this podcast by a persistent friend. I didn’t think the premise sounded like it would be that funny even though I do love Acaster and Gambles stand up shows. Having now listened to every episode I happily stand corrected, partly due to my orthopaedic shoes arriving yesterday, but also largely to the hilarity of the James and Ed. Makes me laugh out loud every week.

Thank god they're back for season four so quickly. I tore through 60 episodes at the beginning of lockdown. Funny, good in jokes, easy to listen to, and the helpful bonus of finding some new recommendations to eat

Everyone likes food. And everyone has very different takes on what makes a good meal. Hell, you could probably wring an entire podcast out of the still or sparkling water debate, so hearing famous guests delve into their tastes and food memories whilst being gently ribbed by two cheeky chapies is deeper, funnier and more varied than you might imagine. Doesn’t matter who the guest is, it’s always fascinating to hear what someone’s dream meal is. And Ed and James always have something witty to say in response. Love it!
