Finally the secret ingredient pays off! Iβve been listening to the back catalog for a while & finally someone got booted! No spoilers but it did not disappoint. Itβs quickly become my favourite podcast. Iβll be sad when I catch up & canβt listen to multiple episodes a week.

Funny and easy listening. Always makes me laugh! Fave eps so far aisling Bea l, Noel feilding Greg Davies and too many to list. Ed and james very funny together but james makes it for me! Everyone complaining about the ads there isnβt that many and I just skip em anyway! (Except james valiant boiler ad ππππ) I usually listen to Redhanded all the time so this always makes a nice change from true crime and just light hearted and funny β€οΈ

It has been so long since I heard Philβs menu, but when Ed said the name of the dish that Phil was crazy about growing up, I can only assume it was Char Kway Teow. It was my mumβs favourite too. It made me smile to remember how much she loved that.

Food is yum yum. Comedy is fun fun. Yum + fun = perfection. Listened from the start and love it so much. Ed and James, and their guests, have kept me company and helped me through some tough times over the last few years. Thank you.

I just wanted to say that I love this podcast, I listen all the time but especially helpful when feeling anxious or down. Kathy Burkes interview will forever be my favourite and I return to it a lot. Some tit has written a bad review about James and I felt compelled to write to say you are BOTH wonderful, hilarious and extremely likeable.π

Jeez, sometimes you expect something other as well as ads when you listen to podcasts, or even a host (Ed) who is slightly likeable. But no, all you get is an idiot talking about wine for too long and constant, lying-through-your-teeth advertising from a fake-smiling goon and a stroppy teenager. And James is far too predictable to remain funny for more than 2 and a 1/2 minutes.

Great hosts and guests, just all around a good show.

Hi Ed & James, I really enjoyed the episode Iβm a big fan of Chris, and the interview was brilliant. Loved the chat about food and drink too! Chris, your choices were fantastic β¦ although Iβm not quite sure about the Pot Noodle sandwich π I even know someone who adds grated cheese on top of their Pot Noodle π€’ And yes, I personally love cranberry sauce with mint sauce on everything!

This podcast is such a great balance of funny, interesting, soothing and entertaining. The variety of guests is great and Iβve become a bit addicted to the vibe between βthe boysβ. Def worth a listen if you want chill, interesting comedy. ππ«π₯₯π₯π₯¦π₯π§

Saturday Kitchen (6/12/2025) demonstrates whatβs happened with these two guys over the last couple of years. Edβs career is going to move into the multiple planes (Traitors, quiz, comedy, stand up , panel). He has this charismatic personality that takes you with him and yet makes the audience think they are the most importantly, where as James still comes across as a posh angry teenager where there is no avenue to take it forward ( James you are definitely not Rick Mayall)!

Still often funny, but six and a half minutes of ads before it even starts is too much! Puts me off so much that I rarely listen to it now.

Iβve had some downer reviews of late, but chuffed with some of the last few going back to food chat proper (eg Joy Crooks), but Iβm back here to applaud having Jen on - not just because it was funny food talk, but because the lads acknowledged her work and charity for Gaza. Weβre here for Christians, Jews, Muslims, Sikhs, Hindus, Buddhists etc etc. Food unites us all. Thanks lads / Plosive x

Used to love this but James gloating and laughing about being so loaded was so stand out. What an arrogant man.

Usually gives a good chuckle. Canβt understand people complaining about ads, you can bloody skip them.

The dynamic is much more interesting when you contrast two comedians with actors, musicians etc. I feel like those episodes are much funnier as they surprise you and the jokes feel more natural. There have been way too many comedians recently! Still love the shows concept and will continue to listen.

Rly good but thereβs way too many ads! 5 minutes in and there still going with the ads

I know one of them is a comedian for sureβ¦ but are we certain the other one is? Itβs too mean to leave it at that. I like you both. Iβm just being a bit a dck.
