Listened to Spall Senior and laughed out loud. Absolutely brilliantly bonkers meal and would be hilarious company. Thought it the best episode. UNTIL …… I listened to Spall Junior.. No words can adequately capture my delight at the indulgence of his meal. Maybe it’s cos I grew up south of the river, maybe it’s cos I love food. Maybe it’s because I’m a Londoner…ha.. but if I could choose my death it would be joining Rafe, Ed (and maybe James..) as we eat ourselves towards the afterlife. Thank you.. thank you.

This is by far my favourite food based podcast. It got me through a 3.5k mile drive through Europe in a haze of food lust and chuckles. James and Ed’s banter, combined with their genuine passion for food and even better company makes this cast essential listening.
