I’m grateful for this podcast! What a gift for those who are looking for hope and redemption in this broken world. Jesus says in John 14:6 “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” Thank you for sharing the true stories with us that point listeners to the Truth!

As a Christian and member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, I am always looking for uplifting podcasts. I was happy at first when I found Compelled. However, after listening to more episodes, I have found that they put some religions down instead of celebrating all who worship and love Jesus Christ and God.

I came upon Compelled after feeling convicted by the Holy Spirit to get away from consuming secular media. So I searched Christian podcasts and I listened to one and enjoyed it. I had started building a habit of bible plans and such. It was awkward and inconsistent as a newly convicted Christian and mom of young kids with full time work. I felt God calling me to him, but not sure how to find a rhythm with little example of that in my life. Then life continued, months passed. I was allowing myself to get pulled back into tv shows and things I knew the Lord didn’t want for me. Nothing “crazy” but as the Holy Spirit opened my eyes, I could see how all of these shows were using the Lords name disrespectfully, promoting lust and romanticizing sin, mocking faith and God’s goodness. Just so many things that are against God’s ultimate desire for our hearts and minds. And then one day as I about to slip back and play a true crime show (which I know feeds my fear and anxieties), I paused, finger hovering over the start button and sincerely looked up at the ceiling and said to God —- “I know this isn’t great, but what am I supposed to do? Help me.” And up popped a notification that a new Compelled episode was released. I swear hadn’t seen any notifications like it since I listened to that one episode several months prior. But the Lord answered me and gave me a way back toward Him! I laughed, praised God and started listening to Compelled any time I had an urge to “watch” something. I cherish each testimony and share them with friends and family. The Lord has used these testimonies to call me to repent of past sins, humble myself to Him, and to inspire and uplift my hope for nonbelievers in my friends and family. Such a blessing! Thank you and Praise God, who is so personal and faithful. He sees each of us, knows our hearts, and is here to walk with us if we allow Him. ❤️

Last episode (dated 7/15/2025) paints both Tim Keller and the False Gospel Coalition in a positive light. That compelled me to unsubscribe. The discernment here lacks. Great production, poor discernment.

Listening to the powerful testimonies from Compelled has been such a blessing and encouragement. As a consumer of many Christian podcasts I enjoy and am encouraged by, I find something special and different in Compelled. The production quality of the episodes coupled with the thoughtful, sober approach in telling these stories is unlike anything else I’ve encountered. These diverse stories of how God draws people to Himself, encourages me to keep praying for those who don’t know Him yet. These stories show me how God knows what each person needs to be drawn to Him. This podcast keeps me praying for people who still need to know Him to know the Spirit is still working even when those being drawn don’t share what is going on in their hearts.

I loved Anna’s testimony. I prayed for my husband for 33 years. God did a work in me and in His time my husband got saved. When he got diagnosed with Alzheimer’s Disease he new he was was not indestructible but a sinner in need of God’s saving grace. God in His abundant grace continues to sanctify us as we walk out His good plan for us. God is good and the portion from His hand is holy.
