I'm Lauren. A seemingly average woman in her mid-30s, and by all accounts I am. I'm just really good at hiding: Trauma, depression, anxiety, abuse survivor, and suicide survivor. This podcast was born out of anger, anger at how the mentally ill are viewed and treated, how women are still treated as if we're stuck in 1500, and how poverty is impossible to escape.
